A Hungarian lymphatic massage doesn’t look like peak relaxation. The esthetician works in fast, rhythmic motions, sweeping her fingers in quick succession across my cheeks, over my forehead and down my neck, targeting fine lines along the way. She uses a suction cupping tool to lift and tone, increasing circulation and reducing puffiness. It’s surprisingly relaxing, and midway through my sculpt facial at the FACE FOUNDRIÉ, I’m mentally checking my schedule to see when I can return for another session.
The Minnesota-founded franchise FACE FOUNDRIÉ which specializes in efficient facials and enhancements, like collagen masks, lash lifts and brow tints, opened in the Naples Design District last spring. The semi-open facial bar (privacy curtains separate individual treatment areas) is awash in creamy neutrals. And, skincare obsessives can sign up for monthly memberships to maintain that dewy glow.
The six 40-minute facials include collagen-boosting cryotherapy, exfoliating dermaplaning and gua sha stone massage. The signature Foundrié Glow starts with a deep cleanse, followed by a hydrating mask and massage. A quick spritz of toning mist, a dab of the brand’s The Blue Stuff hyaluronic acid serum, and a final cocktail of mineral sunscreen and moisturizer leave you glowing. And quick, 20-minute facials (ideally timed for fitting in before a gala) get straight to the point with a quick cleanse and cooling mask.
As with my sculpting treatment, each facial starts and ends with a mix of essential oils, a shoulder massage and positive affirmations—a send-off that leaves me smiling, sans the smile lines.
